Sad that there are 3,5 plus million homeless, sadder that the majority of them are extreme alcoholics and drug addicts, but saddest of all is the fact that the hoboes and vagabonds of today use these animals to avoid getting arrested for vagrancy, as the local jails do not provide animal care. Panhandling at every intersection may be in vogue, the above individuals had a choice in their life style, but those poor animals didn’t.
