Honour killing or suicide? Girl's 'semi-naked body' found with lover, but police blind to the clues

Chandauli: See the above picture. According to the police this is a clear case of suicide. They have a solid reason to trust this theory as they have a suicide note to support their claim. "We are committing suicide because there is no hope of our living together. Burry us together in a grave, so that after death we may not be parted," says the suicide note.
But the pictures reveal a fact which is not in the suicide note.
Why the girl is found in semi-nude condition? No-one commits suicide this way. There is definitely a story behind this which can come out only after thorough investigation.
It could well be a case of honour-killings as the parents of the girl strongly opposed this relationship.
This all happened in Vishunpurva village which comes under Sakaldiha police station.
Police reached the spot as soon as they got the information of the incident. Investigating officers are making it to be a love-affair that could not get the blessings of the elders. Post-mortem report in this case is awaited.
Girl's father accepts that she was involved with this boy who is found hanging with the girl. This relationship had been going on for a very long time. But somehow, her parents forced her to get married to someone else.
On April 28, her husband and his relative had come to solemnize 'Gona' ceremony and take her with them. But in the night the girl went missing. 'Baarat' returned after the humiliation as the girl was nowhere to be found. Just then, villagers saw the bodies hanging from a tree.
This could well be a case of honour killing but police seems to be ignoring all the clues.
