Ο φετινός διαγωνισμός καλύτερης φωτογραφίας της Sony ξεπέρασε σε συμμετοχές κάθε προσδοκία. Θεωρείται ο μεγαλύτερος διαγωνισμός του πλανήτη και μετά από 8 χρόνια ζωής ο θεσμός φέτος κατάφερε να συγκεντρώσει 173.444 φωτογραφίες και συμμετοχές από 170 χώρες.
Οι τελικές λίστες με τις εικόνες που ξεχώρισαν και που πλέον βρίσκονται στην κούρσα για την καλύτερη φωτογραφία της χρονιάς ανακοινώθηκαν.
Οι μεγάλοι νικητές των τριών κατηγοριών θα ανακοινωθούν στις 23 Απριλίου στο Somerset στο Λονδίνο.
Aυτές είναι μερικές από τις εκπληκτικές φωτογραφίες που κατάφεραν να κερδίσουν μαι θέση στην μακροσκελή λίστα των φιναλίστ. Ανάμεσά τους ίσως βρίσκονται και αυτές που σε λίγες εβδομάδες θα έχουν τον τίτλο των καλύτερων φωτογραφιών της χρονιάς.
